"Daybreak" is the debut single from the Medicine Singers, a Native American project born from the Eastern Medicine Singers group that features a revolving door of collaborators who blur genres and explore a new realm of music with this project. It is sung in the extinct Massachusetts dialect of Algonquin language, spoken by less than a dozen people anywhere in the world, which is preserved on this recording.
